(2) after rooting your device. now we are ready to activate dark mode in Instagram application.

(3) open Google Play Store and download an application called substratum theme engine.

this app allows you to change your Android theme using root permission.

(4) substratum theme engine application it is only an engine. so you will need a dark theme for substratum.

(5) again open Google Play Store and download any dark theme supported for the substratum theme engine.

(6) right now I am going to install Flux – Substratum Theme. It is not free. But it is working perfectly.

(6) after installing Flux – Substratum Theme App. just open substratum theme engine from your apps menu.

(7) first time when you open the substratum theme engine. it will ask you for root permission. So allow it.

(8) Go to the Themes section. And here you will see your Flux – Substratum Theme. Which I installed from the play store.

(9) click on Flux – Substratum Theme icon. Now you are in Theme editor. Here you control your theme options.

(10) first, select your Android version. In my case. I have Android 9 which is Android Pie.

(11) after that select the Instagram application here now. You can select more apps if you want to Enable Dark mice.

(12) after selecting an Instagram application. you will see an icon on the right side of the bottom screen.

just click on that icon. You will see the first option which is Disable other themes.

Just enable this option and click on the Build Install button.

It will take up to 10 sec. After that just restart your device. After restart. Open your Instagram application.

Done now you properly enabled dark mode in Instagram application.

(1) first, uninstall the Instagram application from your Android phone.

(3) after that download the GBInsta app on your Android phone. you can download GBInsta from here or from google.

(4) One more file you required which is DarkMode.xml. So download both the files in the internal storage of your Android phone.

(5) now first install GBInsta APK file on your phone. Now log in with your username and password.

(6) After that. just go to your profile. You will see a settings icon on the top. Click on that button.

(7) now you need to click on more button. there you will see load theme option button.

so click on that option. now browse your DarkMode.XML file.
