Guys, there are so many software’s available on the market. This software easily protects your Pendrive using a password. But so many software are paid, not free to use. So guys in this tutorial I will show you a simple step, which you can use for password protection of your Pendrive. So follow all the steps properly then you understand How To Set Password In Pendrive Without Any Software On any computer or pc.

NOTE :

That is a risky process. So make sure to take a full backup of your Pendrive data. Because in that method we will not format our Pendrive. But there is a chance for damage your Pendrive. So Do it at your own risk, I am not responsible for anything goes wrong.

Requirements For Set Password In Pendrive Without Any Software :

1. You will need a pc or computer. Running on Windows operating system 7/8/10. If you don’t have windows installed. Read my how to install windows 10 /8/7 on any pc tutorial.

2. You need Use any USB Pen Drive. That method will work on every Pen Drive. But use good companies USB Pen Drive.

3. 3. Backup of your USB Pen Drive. Because in that method we will not format our USB Pen Drive. But don’t take a risk. So it is safe to take a backup of your USB Pen Drive.

How To Set Password In Pendrive Without Any Software :

Step – 1: First connect your USB Pen Drive to your pc or computer. Take a backup of your current data which is in Pen Drive. After the backup is done, now just right click on your pen drive.

Step – 2: Now you will see so many options on your screen. Just find the Turn On BitLocker Click on that option. It will take some time to processing. (minimum 5-10 sec).

Step – 3: After that, it will show two options. Use the first one. Put your password here. And again reenter your password. Then click on next button.

Step – 4: Now you will see password recovery options. In that page. You need to save password key file to your pc. That key file will help you to unlock your Pendrive if you forgot your password. So that is a most important step to follow. After that click on next.

Step – 5: After that, you will get two options. Then click on Encrypt Entire Disk option. After that click on Start encryption button. It will start encouraging your Pendrive with password protection. It will take more time to encrypt. So don’t disconnect your Pendrive. Otherwise, you loo your Pendrive. So be careful.

Step – 6: After encryption done. Your all work is done. Now disconnect your Pendrive from a pc. Reconnect it. After reconnecting, it will ask your password. Now you need to put a proper password to unlock your Pendrive.

How To Remove Password From Pendrive (Disable) :

Step – 1: First connect your locked Pendrive to your pc.

Step – 2: Right-click on Pendrive storage. Find Mange Bit Locker option. Click on that option.

Step – 3: Now find Turn Off BitLocker or Disable Bit Locker option. Click on that option.

Step – 4: It will start decryption process. It will take time to processing. So don’t disconnect your Pendrive from a pc.

Step – 5: After decryption. Your Pendrive is unlocked. Now you can access your Pendrive Without Any password protection.
